¡Estoy muy feliz de traerles esta nueva sección en el blog!
¿En qué consiste?
Cada mes analizaré para ustedes el estilo de una persona que considere como un «Icono de estilo» y les mostraré qué tips de moda podemos aprender de ellas.
Ojo: estoy abierta a recomendaciones de personas que ustedes consideren que tienen estilo (no importa si son bloggers, cantantes, actrices o editoras de moda).
Si me siguen en Instagram no les sorprendería que haya escogido a Dua Lipa para que inaugure esta nueva sección en el blog. Soy fan de su música (hasta fui a su concierto cuando vino a Buenos Aires) pero, de lo que soy aún más fan, es de su estilo.
Para inaugurar está sección también debo comenzar explicando que todos sus logros fashionistas no vienen completamente de ella. Hay que aprender que detrás de toda celebridad hay una persona que trabaja en conjunto con ellos; el estilista, el cual es la persona encargada de crear sus looks para formar un estilo característico y aún mejor, crear tendencias.
Entonces además de Dua le debemos dar un aplauso a su estilista Lorenzo Posocco porque gracias a ellos pude inspirarme para los siguientes tips:

Each month I will analyze the style of a women that I consider as a style icon and I will show you what fashion tips we could learn from that person. I am open to recommendations (it doesn’t matter if they are bloggers, singers, actresses or fashion editors).
If you follow me on Instagram you would not be surprised that I chose Dua Lipa to launch this new section on the blog. I’m a big fan of her music (I even went to her concert when she came to Buenos Aires) but also, I really love her style.
To begin with this post, I must explain to you that all of her fashion achievements are no completely attributed to her. You have to learn that behind every celebrity there is a person who works together with them to create looks and that is the work of the fashion stylist.
So… in addition to Dua, we should give applause to his stylist Lorenzo Posocco because thanks to them I got inspired for the following tips:
1* Enfatiza lo mejor de tu cuerpo:
1 * Emphasize the best of your body:
No podemos negar que los abdominales de Dua Lipa son sus mejores atributos. En casi todos sus looks la cantante deja al descubierto sus abdominales con el uso de bralettes y en su mayoría, con pantalones por arriba de la cintura (exponer pero tampoco tanto).
Cuando hablo de enfatizar la mejor parte de tu cuerpo no hablo solo de dejarla al descubierto (hay partes que obviamente no deberíamos) sino aprender a escoger prendas que favorezcan tu cuerpo.
We can not deny that the abs of Dua Lipa are her best attributes. In almost all of her looks the singer reveals her abs with the use of bralettes and mostly with pants above the waist (expose but not so much).
When I talk about emphasizing the best part of your body, I’m not talking about just exposing it (there are parts that we obviously should not) but learning to choose clothes that favor your body.
2* Lo sporty es sexy:
¿Quién dijo que un pantalón atlético podía llevarse de tantas maneras? Dua Lipa es la reina llevando el estilo sporty, puede llevar un un traje deportivo y aún así lucir perfecta para salir de fiesta.
Para mí no fue sorpresa que la cantante haya sido una de las caras de la nueva campaña de Adidas Originals. Te dejo el video de la campaña (porque me encantó) y algunos ejemplos de ella llevando este estilo:
2 * Sporty is sexy:
Who said that track pants couldn’t be worn in so many ways? Dua Lipa is the best at wearing the sporty style, she can wear a sporty suit and still look perfect for partying.
For me it was no surprise that the singer was one of the faces of the new Adidas Originals campaign. Here is the video of the campaign (because I loved it) and some examples of her wearing this style:
3* No tengas miedo al color:
3* Don’t be afraid to wear color:
No tengas miedo a combinar colores diferentes o a llevar un look monocromático. Realmente la paleta de colores que lleva Dua es fuera de lo usual (azul, naranja, amarillo, verde, rojo, morado).
Don’t be afraid to combine different colors or to wear a monochromatic look. Actually the color palette that Dua wears is out of the ordinary (blue, orange, yellow, green, red, purple). So fun!
4* La chaqueta es el mejor complemento.
4* A coat or jacket is the best complement
Lleva tu look a otro nivel con una chaqueta y juega a crear diferentes combinaciones de texturas o de estampados, los resultados te pueden sorprender. Mira estos ejemplos con Dua:

Si pensamos en Dua Lipa, definitivamente los Chokers son lo suyo.
Aunque es normal probar llevar diferentes accesorios creo que es genial mantenerte leal a los que de verdad te gustan.
If we think of Dua Lipa, definitely the Chokers remind us of her.
Although it is normal to try different accessories, I think it’s great to stay loyal to those you really like.
6* Rockea el «suit» masculino.

Definitivamente es un look muy poderoso y Dua Lipa sabe llevarlo bien. Cambia el juego y en vez de llevar a una fiesta un vestido puedes variar con un blazer y pantalón, se ve súper elegante y aunque no lo creas, muy sexy.
It is definitely a very powerful look and Dua Lipa knows how to rock it. Change the game and instead of taking a party a dress, wear a blazer and pants, it looks super elegant and believe it or not, very sexy.
7* Diviértete con las piezas casuales.
7* Have fun with casual garments
Aquí te muestro como Dua Lipa lleva una «Graphic Tee» (remera) con unos pantalones estampados de vestir , una camisa XL como un vestido y con unas botas hasta las rodillas o como lleva puesto un suéter (buzo) con una falda de vestir y botas altas. Realmente la cantante si sabe divertirse con la moda para salirse de lo común, ¡atrévete!
Here are some Dua Lipa wonderful examples of how to have fun with clothes. Look how she wears a «Graphic Tee» with a print dress pant, an XL t-shirt like a dress with knee-high boots or as she wears a hoover with a skirt and high boots. Dare to dress out of the ordinary.
8* Diviértete con los colores y el brillo al maquillarte.
8* Have fun with colorfully and glitter makeup
Experimenta con sombras de colores diferentes con labios nude o enfoca todo el color en tus labios y, por supuesto, mucho brillo.
Experiment different makeup looks like Dua: on with eye shadows of different colors and nude lips or full color on your lips and a lot of glitter.
