Buenos Aires es una ciudad gigante con una gran cantidad de locales para comer, festejar o tomar algo. De verdad la lista de lugares es casi que infinita y cada vez que me recomiendan un lugar me encanta la idea de salir y probar y si salgo con suerte y me gustó mucho, es probable que lo repita.
Milo Lockett Bar es el lugar protagonista de este artículo. Hace como un mes, mi hermana, una amiga y yo teníamos como plan tener una noche de chicas, la idea era compartir tomando ricos cócteles y disfrutar de una picata (puesto que el plan era más disfrutar de las bebidas que de comer).
Sin planificar ni nada caminamos por Palermo hasta que pasamos por Milo y mi hermana nos comentó que había escuchado de este lugar en el trabajo y que le llamaba mucho la atención y es que la verdad, es un lugar bastante llamativo, a penas pasas por al lado sientes como curiosidad por conocerlo. Así que luego de ver el menú decidimos entrar.
Al entrar nos atendieron rápido y nos sentaron en una mesa cerca de la ventana, yo me sentí en un lugar muy cosmopolitan, creo que tiene un gran parecido a los bares que puedes conseguir en Nueva York. El diseño interior es lo más llamativo, el lugar es de un artista llamado -valga la redundancia- Milo Lockett, el cual es un artista argentino muy famoso por sus dibujos y que por supuesto formaban parte de la decoración del lugar, desde las mesas hasta las paredes. Sin embargo, el bar tiene un balance perfecto entre chic y artístico.
Vimos el menú y decidimos pedir cada una su trago, mi amiga pidió un Bloody Mary, mi hermana un Tom Collins y yo un Daiquirí de maracuyá y realmente estaban hechos a la perfección. Lo digo porque a veces o le echan mucho alcohol a los tragos o hay un exceso de dulce que empalaga. De comer pedimos un plato de degustación para compartir que traía: empanadas de langostino, provoleta, unos pollos fritos y unas papas horneadas acompañadas con diferentes salsas.
Siendo muy sincera, quedamos muy satisfechas con todo, hasta la música que ponían ambientó nuestras conversaciones de la mejor manera. Al final concluí que es un lugar que me encantaría volver.

Buenos Aires is a giant city with a lot of places to eat, party or have a drink. Truly the list of places is almost infinite and every time someone recommends a place to me, I love the idea of going out to try it and if I end up being lucky and I really liked it, I will probably repeat it.
Milo Lockett Bar is the protagonist of this article. About a month ago, my sister, a friend and I wanted to have a girl’s night out, the idea was to share, drink cocktails and enjoy a food tasting (since the plan was more to enjoy the drinks than to eat). Without planning or anything we walked through Palermo until we passed by Milo and my sister commented that she had heard of this place at work and that it got her attention and the truth is; that if you walk by the place you feel curiosity of going inside. So after reading the menu we decided to go.
When we got inside, we were attended promptly and seated at a table near the window, I felt in a very cosmopolitan place, I think it has a great resemblance to the bars you can get in New York. The interior design is the most striking, the place is from an artist called Milo Lockett (Of course), who is an argentinian artist, who is very famous for his drawings and that of course, were part of the decoration of the place, from the tables to the walls. However, the bar has a perfect balance between chic and artistic.
We saw the menu and decided to order our drinks, my friend ordered a Bloody Mary, my sister a Tom Collins and I, a fruit Daiquiri made to perfection. I say it because sometimes they pour a lot of alcohol to the drinks or there is an excess of sweet that bothers. To eat we ordered a tasting dish to share that came with: shrimp empanadas, provoleta, fried chicken and baked potatoes accompanied with different sauces.
Honestly, we were very satisfied with everything, even the music around the place set our conversations in the best way. In the end I concluded that it is a place that I would love to return someday.
