La chica de los 90

Muchas tendencias de los 90 volvieron y creo que me identifico totalmente. Mi tendencia favorita de esa época y que amo utilizar ahorita son los chokers y los halter tops.  Aunque para esa época yo era solo una niña y no llegué a utilizar ninguno de los dos, si recuerdo que llevaba siempre unos Ked’s blancos, mi mamá me vestía con bragas de denim y si recuerdo haber pedido que me compraran los famosos choker tattoos(yo siempre antojada de algo). Creo que me siento privilegiada de haber nacido en esa época, fue como un momento de transición hacia la tecnología, habían programas infantiles increíbles (amaba Sabrina La Brujita Adolescente, Hey Arnold, Los Rugrats y más), jugamos en los parques hasta más no poder, crecimos con la Barbie, juegos de mesa, escuchábamos Spice Girls y vimos llegar los juegos de Nintendo, el internet y la transición de los celulares. Hoy en día creo que con tanta tecnología, los niños nacen aprendidos y creo que con tantos avances nada les sorprende o les divierte tanto como a uno y pasan más tiempo en el iPad que compartiendo con otros niños.

Con respecto a este look, creo que es un claro ejemplo de que puedes llevar ropa casual pero los accesorios hacen la diferencia, sobre todo el bicker jacket que creo que toda chica debería tener en su closet. El choker lo improvisé con una cinta, he pensado hacer unos tutoriales de chokers y  me gustaría saber si están interesadas (pueden dejar un comentario abajo si les gustaría).

Una recomendación que se los hago con los ojos cerrados, es que estos son los jeans más cómodos que he utilizado en mi vida y ya he escuchado por parte de otras bloggers internacionales que realmente es así. Estos jeans los compré en descuento en Topshop cuando fui a Chicago el año pasado; siento que se adaptan demasiado bien a tu figura pero a la vez no aprietan y la textura se siente muy bien,  así que si tiene chance no dejen de comprar jeans ahí.

A lot of 90’s trends are back and I totally feel identified with them. My favorite trends from that time and that I love to wear right now are the chokers and the halter tops. Even though, I was just a little girl at the 90’s and I know I didn’t wear those trends; I remember always wearing white Ked’s, my mom always dressed me with denim overalls and I remember asking for the famous choker tattoos. I feel privileged of being born at the 90’s, it was like a transition moment to technology, there were incredible shows for kids (I loved Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Hey Arnold, The Rugrats and more), we played at parks all the time, we grew up with Barbie, board games, we listened to Spice Girls and we saw when Nintendo appeared for the first time, the internet and the transition of cell phones. I think that nowadays with all the technology, kids are born learned and with all the progress nothing surprises them or amuses them as much as we do and that they spend more time in their iPads than sharing with other kids. 

About this look; it is a nice example that you can have casual clothes but accesories change everything, for example this bicker jacket is one essential every girl should own. I made the choker by myself with a ribbon, and I was planning on doing a tutotial about how to make chokers, so tell me if you like the idea (you can leave a comment below If you are interested).

One recommendation that I really wanted to share with you, is that this jeans are the most comfortable I have ever worn in my life and I have heard from other international bloggers that is true. I bought them on discount in a Topshop from Chicago last year; I feel that the jeans adapt perfectly to your figure  and the texture feels really nice, so if you have the chance you should buy one!
