Experiencia en Argentina Fashion Week

La semana pasada pudimos disfrutar de algunos de los desfiles de Argentina Fashion Week, para conocer algunos de los diseñadores, propuestas y tendencias para este otoño-invierno 2018. Aunque no fuimos a todos los desfiles, igual terminamos yendo a todos los increíbles lugares donde se presentaron; desde el Hotel Alvear, El Teatro Colón, hasta el Hipódromo de Palermo.

Last week we had the chance to enjoy some of the fashion shows of Argentina Fashion Week. To get to know some of the designers, proposals and trends for this fall -winter. Although we did not go to all the fashion shows, we ended up going to all the incredible places the shows were presented, the Alvear Palace Hotel, «Teatro Colón» and the Palermo hippodrome.

El primer desfile que fuimos fue al de Carmen Steffens en el Alvear Palace Hotel. Nos enamoramos de las chaquetas bordadas, de los vestidos para la noche y definitivamente, las carteras y zapatos de la marca son un «Must».

The first fashion show we went was from Carmen Steffens at the Alvear Palace Hotel. We fell in love with the embroidered jackets, the dresses for the night and definitely, the handbags and shoes of the brand are must!.

Macarena Rinaldi abrió y cerró el desfile

Allí me encontré con mi amiga blogger Marielpons y lucimos nuestros outfits con la hermosa decoración del Hotel.

Yo lleve un blazer, un pantalón con estampado príncipe de Gales, mis «Kitten heels» de Zara y una riñonera que siento que le dio un toque moderno al outfit.

Mariel lució hermosa con una camisa blanca con flores bordadas, unos pantalones palazzo negros y unas sandalias anaranjadas con tacón.

¿Qué te parecieron nuestros outfits?

That day I met my friend blogger Marielpons and we took some pictures with the beautiful decoration of the Hotel.

I wore a blazer, Prince of Wales print trousers, my kitten heels from Zara and a fanny pack that I feel that gave a modern touch to the outfit.

Mariel looked beautiful in a white shirt with embroidered flowers, black palazzo pants and orange sandals.

El miércoles me fui sola al Teatro Colón para ir al desfile de Verónica de la Canal. Recuerdo que cuando llegué a Buenos Aires y había averiguado sobre la moda aquí, había escuchado sobre esta diseñadora, así que ver uno de sus desfiles iba a ser interesante.

Y así lo fue…

¡Estuvo increíble! La puesta en escena, los vestidos al estilo victoriano/barroco, los peinados, los tocados, el maquillaje, todo fue como si te transportaran a otra época, realmente me sentí como si estuviese en un baile súper elegante en un palacio.

Me gusta que la diseñadora sea fiel a su estilo aunque sea una propuesta teatral y fuera de lo convencional, pero definitivamente por algo escuché de ella porque se ve que su marca es su pasión.

On Wednesday I went alone to the «Teatro Colón» to go to the Verónica de la Canal Fashion Show. I remember that when I arrived to Buenos Aires and looked out about how was  the movment of fashion here, I heard about this designer, so seeing one of her fashion shows was going to be interesting.

And so it was …

It was amazing! The set, the Victorian / Baroque dresses, the hairstyles, the headdresses, the makeup, everything was as if you were transported to another time, I really felt like I was in a super elegant dance in a palace.

I like that the designer is true to her style even if it is a theatrical proposal and out of the ordinary, but that’s why I heard from her before, because you can see that her brand is her passion.

El jueves mi amigo Mauricio Sandoval y yo fuimos al Hipódromo de Palermo para ver los últimos tres desfiles que se presentaron.

Vi el desfile de Carmen Ceretti, quién  presentó diseños perfectos para el frío en este Otoño-Invierno, pero que definitivamente podemos enfrentar sin dejar el glamour a un lado.

Habían hermosos abrigos y ruanas, además de los vestidos y enterizos negros para salir de noche. Mi favorito fue un abrigo amarillo, me encanta la idea de usar colores vibrantes para el invierno (si entras a mi Instagram AQUI, lo puedes encontrar en las historias destacadas en sección de eventos).

On Thursday my friend Mauricio Sandoval and I went to the Hippodrome from Palermo, to see the last three runways that were presented.

I saw the Carmen Ceretti show, who presented perfect designs for the cold for this fall-winter season and that we can definitely face without leaving the glamour aside.

There were beautiful coats and ponchos, in addition to the night out black dresses and jumpsuits. My favorite was a yellow coat, I love the idea of wearing vibrant colors for winter (if you enter my Instagram HERE, you can find it in the highlight instagram stories in the events section).

Luego de ella se presentó Susana Ortiz con unos hermosos y elegantes vestidos largos para la noche. Destacó el uso de encajes, transparencias, estampados de flores y la mayoría eran vestidos ajustados que marcaban la silueta.

After her, Susana Ortiz presented beautiful and elegant long dresses for the night. At the runway it highlighted the use of lace, transparencies, floral prints and most of the dresses were tight dresses that marked the silhouette.

Por último, Claudio Cosano cerró el Argentina Fashion Week  donde vimos las propuestas para las futuras novias y donde desfilaron las dos famosas modelos: Barby Franco y Micaela Viciconte.

At the end, Claudio Cosano closed the Argentina Fashion Week where we saw the proposals for future brides and where two famous models walked the runway : Barby Franco and Micaela Viciconte.

¡Una linda manera de cerrar esta semana de la moda!

La verdad en general estuvo muy bien organizado y así que destaco el trabajo de MK Comunicaciones porque se que la logística y organización de los desfiles no son nada fáciles.

A nice way to close this fashion week!

In general it was very well organized and so I highlight the work of MK Communications because I know that the logistics and organization of the fashion shows are not easy at all.
