El jean perfecto

Es imposible no tener un jean en el armario. Definitivamente es una de las prendas más icónicas de la moda que a través del tiempo ha evolucionado en muchísimas versiones y considero, que es uno de los mejores inventos de la historia.

Según Vogue, el origen del jean se remonta en los años 50 cuando Levi Strauss – un comerciante alemán- pensó que sería útil utilizar la tela que empleaba para fabricar tiendas de campaña en la confección de pantalones para los mineros.

Primero lo utilizaban los mineros y trabajadores, hasta que el jean se hizo famoso gracias a el cantante Elvis Presley y el actor James Dean. Era símbolo de rebeldía y de adolescencia, aunque hoy en día lo utilizan todas las personas sin importar edad, género, clase económica, social o cultural.

Para mí el jean es la prenda más versátil que hay, es esa pieza que te hace sentir cómodo y listo para enfrentar lo que sea en el día a día. A lo largo de mi vida me he probado varios modelos y si me ponen a escoger uno, serían los de tiro extra alto y de pitillo. Me gusta porque siento que me alargan las piernas y disimulan la barriga. También he optado por los rotos, pero últimamente, pienso que mientras más clásicos mejor.

Hay tantos modelos: boyfriend jeans, tiro bajo, tiro alto, acampanados, rectos, rotos por la rodilla, oscuros,claros y muchos más ¿Cómo es tu jean favorito?

It is impossible not to have a jean in your wardrobe. I is definitely one of the most iconic garments of fashion that over time has evolved in several versions and I consider is one of the best inventions in history.

According to Vogue, the origin of the jean dates back to the 1950s when Levi Strauss – a German merchant – thought it would be useful to use the fabric he used to make tents for making pants for miners.

Ar first, miners and workers were the only ones wearing the jean, until it became famous thanks to singer Elvis Presley and actor James Dean. It was a symbol of rebellion and teenagers. Nowadays it is used by all people regardless of age, gender, economic, social or cultural class.

For me the jean is the most versatile garment, it makes you feel comfortable and ready to face whatever the day throws at you. Throughout my life I have tried several models and if I had to choose one I would definitely choose extra high wasted and skinny jeans. I like it because it make my legs look longer and it makes me hide my belly (haha). I have also opted for distressed jeans, but lately, I think that the more classic the better.
